# Haztegi Ikastola

"Haztegi Ikastola was born more than 50 years ago thanks to many parents and Basque speakers, in a context in which the use of the Basque language was prohibited. Since its beginnings, its main objective has been to educate people in Basque for the world as a group.

In order to achieve this, the participation of the entire educational community is essential, which is why it was set up as a cooperative. At the Ikastola we work on pre-university education from the most productive, open and wide-ranging point of view possible".
